OBJECTIVE 4: Participants will be able to develop a course for online learning
Participants will: a. Identify four important instructional design steps which must be defined prior to the creation of a course outline b. Explain why the instructional design steps are important to the course effectiveness c. Apply the instructional design process using as a sample exercise given in class. d. Implement effective strategies to create a course outline. e. Compare and contrast open educational resources, examples and tools that are appropriate for their specific CBL. f. Define common types of assessment that are used in a CBL. g. Develop a course evaluation. |
Course Resources
This course is still in development. The first objective is developed and shown as Module 1 of the course (below). A time schedule has not been set up yet for instruction. Based on the course content, the course will not receive continuing education clinical credits. When the course will be fully develop, class schedule will be promoted in the organization's Learning Management System, at the monthly education council and in the organization class newsletter, Progressions.
